Q is a virtual assistant, designed to make your life easier. Q dials into conference calls and web conferences with you, automatically creates the meeting minutes and sends you the document afterwards. All you need to do is tell Q the time for the call and the dial-in information. You can do that by sending a calendar invite to Q@minutehero.net.
Q dials in at the specified time and starts listening for voice commands. During the call, you can just say “Hey Q” to add something to the meeting notes. Q determines based on its classifications algorithm whether that was a summary, a decision, a to do or a follow-up meeting and classifies it accordingly in the minutes. To end any statement, just say “Thanks, Q!”
Q currently only works in English.
When Q is on a call, you can control it with your voice. To activate Q, you just say “Hey Q”. Once you have finished adding an item to the minutes, just say “Thanks, Q” Q will always confirm it got the command.
Here are some examples:
- “Hey Q: We will serve pizza for everyone Thanks, Q“
- “Hey Q: Peter will buy the ingredients until the fifth of June Thanks, Q“
- “Hey Q: Our next sales meeting will be on the tenth of June Thanks, Q“
- “Hey Q: Last week’s event was a full success Thanks, Q“
Q confirms each recognized voice command with a short tone, so you know it’s listening.
If someone joins the meeting late, you can let Q introduce itself by saying
- “Q Introduce Yourself“
To make Q leave the call, say
- “Q Hang Up“
If you change your mind and Q shall stay in the call, say
- “Q Stop“ or “Thanks, Q”
To get help with the most important commands, say
- “Q Help“
All minutes created by Q are available in an editable docx file. The output document contains information about the call and all items you added to the minutes during the call.
To create the content, Q uses the most advanced speech-to-text technology available today. And we are constantly working on improving the quality of transcription. But no speech-to-text system is perfect, so there may be some mistakes in the meeting minutes.
Q also uses a machine-learning based classification algorithm to classify statements as decisions, to dos or follow-up meetings. Sometimes it may classify an item incorrectly. If this happens or if you are not satisfied with the quality of your output document, please contact email@example.com, and we work something out. Hero’s promise.
We take security and privacy very seriously. So we take as many precautions as possible to ensure the security of the MinuteHero service and the safety of your data. All voice recordings and documents are encrypted and stored on servers with state-of-the-art security systems.
Additionally, we only record what you tell us to record. We do not create a recording of the entire call.
